2016-2017 season has come and gone with the FA Cup still remaining to play for which will come up this Saturday 27th May, 2017. Chelsea crowned Champions, Tottenham Hotspur followed, Manchester City then Liverpool finished the top four. Arsenal for the first time in many years are outside the first four to end in 5th position and Manchester United in 6th but a win in to night Europa final against Ajax in Sweden will do a great season for Jose Mourinho's side.
The year belonged to Chelsea, who rebounded under the tutelage of Antonio Conte all the way back to the top.
At the bottom of the table, today the league says goodbye to Hull City, Middlesbrough and Sunderland. The Black Cats have been flirting with relegation the past two seasons, and are going down to the Championship for the first time in a decade. Replacing them will be the return of Newcastle United, who won the Championship on the final day of the season. Huddersfield Town will joining them up top after winning the playoff against Reading as well as be Brighton & Hove Albion.
