John Obi Mikel who was signed to Chelsea by Jose Mourinho in a battle with Manchester United and Lyn Oslo of Norway during his first tenor as coach of Chelsea in which the Blues paid £16 million to both clubs. Manchester United got £12 million and Lyn Oslo got £4 million in returns.

Now, rumour as it that Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho is set to make a move for Mikel and bring his former midfielder to Manchester United in the January transfer.
Captain of the Nigeria National team, Super Eagles has not played any match this season since Antonio Conte took charge of the Blues. There is no sign if Chelsea and Manager Conte will renew Mikel Obi's contract that will expired next year.
There are some reports that due to his participation in the recent Olympic in Rio, Brazil with the Nigeria U-23 team could be the cause of his limitation in the Chelsea team so far this season in all competitions.
Mourinho will now be the same Manager that will sign the player for the Old Trafford outfit, a player Manchester United thought they had signed 10 years ago which took almost a year before the situation ends.
