Cardiff City Appoint Neil Warnock As New Coach

Cardiff City have appointed 67-year-old Neil Warnock as the club's first team manager who succeeds Paul Trollope. Paul Trollope was sacked on Tuesday after disappointing start to the current season.
Neil Warnock, whose latest managerial role was at Rotherham, has joined Cardiff City.

Warnock will work alongside Kevin Blackwell as Assistant Manager and Ronnie Jepson as First Team Coach while other staff of the back-room team consists of the existing members James Rowberry, Lee southernwood and Martyn Magetson.

The former Crystal Palace Coach will take charge of Cardiff who are currently 2nd-bottom in the Championship with immediate effect and hoping to turned around the fortune for the club just as he did at Rotherham when he was appointed on a short-term deal and led the club to safety last season. Though, Rotherham offered him long-term contract but he turned it down for a short-term and help Rotherham to still be in Championship this season.
