The EFL reigning champions Manchester City begin their title defense at Swansea City, one of the four all-Premier League ties. Southampton host Crystal Palace in another EPL ties, Hull City travel to Stoke City and Premier League Champions Leicester City welcome the team they succeed in winning the league, Chelsea in another EPL tie,,,and probably this could be the tie of the draw Round-3.
Last year's losing finalists Liverpool play away to Derby County at iPro. Manchester United, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur got draw-bye in the Round Two due to European commitments.
Manchester United play the Cobblers in their Sixfields home, Northampton Town defeated West Bromwich Albion in Round Two. Also the other teams that won Round Two against Premier league sides, Accrington Stanley defeated Burnley, Watford lost to Gillingham to face another EPL sides in West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.
QPR will host David Moyes's side Sunderland, Preston North End visit AFC Bournemouth and Wenger's Arsenal travel to four-time winners Nottingham Forest in the hope of making it 5th time. Further four all-Championship clashes complete the draw for this round. Below is full draw.
