Sunderland coach to land England job after agreeing personal terms with the FA to become the new England manager to replace Roy Hodgson. The deal is worth £7million for 2-year with a further two-year option.
Allardyce beat-off competition from Hull City Boss, Steve Bruce, Bournemouth Manager Eddie Howe and current USA coach Jurgen Klinsmann who are also mention for the England job. Sam Allardyce could make his debut as early of September 2016 in World cup qualify.
Though that will leave Sunderland to replace him, with former Manchester United and Real Sociedad Manager David Moyes is top target to be offered the role as 2016/2017 Premier League due to start less a month.
Sunderland are looking to get maximum compensation for their manager after the news was broke Wednesday evening that Sam Allardyce will be the new manager for the national team. "Naturally we are aware of the intense media speculation this evening, however at the present time Sam Allardyce remains our manager," the club said yesterday.
"We share in the anger and frustration of our supporters and would like to assure them that we are working to conclude the matter in the best interests of Sunderland AFC."
Reports from Sportsmail revealed that Allardyce met some key members of FA's, the Technical Director Dan Ashworth, Vice-chairman David Gill and Chief Executive Martin Glenn at Gill's Cheshire home for talks last week.
Glenn said Wednesday that the FA wanted a manager who could 'inspire', then went on 'we're not after a short-term mercenary.'
"I want someone to come in to the England role to really work with not just the senior team but to make sure all the great work with the Under-16s, 17s, 18s, look at how well the Under-19s are doing now and to knit all that together.
"We want someone to do a great job for the England national team but as well make sure all the development teams are laddering up to something more effective."
Glenn later told the BBC: "People probably play not to make a mistake, as opposed to play to win.
"So the new manager's got to be someone who can inspire people to get the best out of themselves, build resilience and unashamedly adopt the kind of psychological technique that other sports and other football teams have done."
