NFF shortlists Le Guen, Yusuf & Sainfiet for Super Eagles' job

Nigeria has shortlisted three-man to replace Sunday Oliseh as the Super Eagles Coach.

NFF listed the present interim coach, Salisu Yusuf, former Cameroon coach, Paul Le Guen and former Ethiopia coach, Tom Sainfiet for the job after receiving application letters from over 20 coaches.

Former Nigeria internationals Peter Ijeh and Sylvanus Okpala as well as Adebayo Lateef Kola were all on the list.

Le Guen – former French international will fancy his chances, while Sainfiet also has managerial experience on the continent. 

“We set a criteria with which we evaluated the nearly two dozen applications and then agreed on the three persons that we shortlisted,” chairman of the Technical and Development Committee, Chris Green, told NFF website.
“The Committee will meet on Monday, 18th July 2016 to interview the shortlisted candidates and immediately name the next Super Eagles’ head coach.”
